Klemko and Dust victorious at the Elaine Nekritz Points Trophy Race

(Northbrook, Illinois - June 23, 2006) - A saggy day in the Village of Northbrook turned sunshine by late evening just in time for the women to take center stage at the Elaine Nekritz Trophy Points Race.

Two weeks ago, Klemko (America's Dairyland) left her mark at the Ed Rudolph Velodrome by sweeping all the women events for the night and last night she showed once again that she is in top form as she readies herself to compete in the USAC National Track Cycling calendar and other events.

Twenty three women dashed to the velodrome to get a share of the guaranteed $1,000 purse. The event was sponsored by Alberto's Sport of Highland Park, Illinois.

Spectators came out in great numbers to witness the historic moment and to meet and greet State Representative Elaine Nekritz who came out to watch the event that bears her name.

In the category 4 race, Debbie Dust (Team Kenda Tire) "dusted" the competition and came out on top. Dust is gearing up for the upcoming Illinois State Road Race and Criterium Championships in Peoria, Illinois.
